New Site!

Here's a heads-up! My daughter has recently updated our church website - and the ladies now have a new home within it. All the work is done and we are just waiting for all the technical stuff to fall into place so it is on-line (long, unpleasant story!!!). As soon as that is all done, I will close this blog and more Mary & Martha information to the church website. You can find it at firstbaptistnorthconway.org

Throughout history, mothers have been known for handing out wisdom, advice, and correction to their children. you can almost hear these moms of famous people say the following:

-Paul Revere's mother: "I don't care where you think you have to go, young man. Midnight is past your curfew!'

-Mona Lisa's mother: "After all the money your father and I have spent on braces, that's the biggest smile you can give us?

-Humpty Dumpty's mother: "If I've told you once, I've told you a hundred times, do not sit on that wall. It's dangerous!"

-Michaelangelo's mother: "Can't you please try to remember to paint on the paper! Don't you know how hard it is to get that stuff off the ceiling?"

-Batman's mother: "I'm sure it's a very nice car, son, but do you have any idea how much the insurance will be!"

-Goldilocks' mother: "I've got a bill here for a busted chair from the Bear family. Do you know anything about that?"

-Albert Einstein's mother: "But, Albert, it's your senior picture. Can't you do something about your hair?"

-Thomas Edison's mother: "Yes, yes, it's a great idea, now turn it off and go to bed."
